HOW TO IMPORT GAME DATA

No. Send games in any order.

We skip the copy. Nothing counts twice.

The game shows on your player's games in about a minute. We also email you back. If you don't see our email, check Spam or Promotions.

Shift video links, not stats. Forward it to us and we save the video of every shift on the game. To get stats in, use the Chrome extension on a computer, or ask your coach to send us the team report from their free coach account.

If your league's stats provider emails a match report, forward that email to us. Otherwise, email us a game stats PDF or upload it on the Add games page.

If your league uses TPE: open the game on the TPE site and click "Capture this game" with our Chrome extension — every shift comes with a link that opens TPE's video right at that shift. If your game report arrives by email instead, forward the original email and we save the clips from it automatically. A PDF upload brings stats only.

Log in to Shift Excellence, then open the game on TPE. A red "Capture this game" button appears once a game is open. Click it and leave the page open while TPE flips to Players and back. The very first time, the extension asks one quick question: which of your players this TPE login belongs to. Tap your player's name once and every game after that is one click. When it's done, click "Watch on Shift Excellence" to see every shift with its video.

The button only shows once a game is open. If you just installed or updated the extension, refresh the TPE page once. If Chrome turned the extension off after an update, switch it back on from the puzzle-piece menu (Manage extensions).

Video captured with the Chrome extension opens on TPE's own site, so it stays available as long as TPE keeps the game up. Video links inside a forwarded report email usually stop working after 5 to 8 weeks on the provider's end; we save them the moment you forward the email.

No problem. If the email has no game report link and no PDF attached, nothing gets imported and we reply to say so. If it does have a PDF, we only add it when the PDF names your player and the email came from your sign-in address.

Yes! Go through your inbox and forward any past game report emails. The stats will import as usual. Video links may have expired, but the PDF stats will still work. TPE coach emails are the exception: the report link in them stops working 14 days after it is sent, so download that report from the TPE portal and upload it instead.

Make sure you forwarded the original game email (not a summary or screenshot) to the exact address (import@in.shiftexcellence.com), and send it from the same email you use to sign in. That's how we match it to your player. We'll email you to confirm when a game comes in. Check Spam or Promotions for our reply. If it still doesn't work, you can upload the game PDF on the Add games page.

Yes. As long as both parents are linked to the player (via the shared player feature), either parent can forward game report emails and the data goes to the same player profile.

Everything on the game stats PDF: goals, assists, points, plus/minus, shots, time on ice, shifts, faceoffs, hits, blocked shots, zone play, puck battles, xG, Corsi, and 60+ advanced analytics. Plus all video clip links from the email.

Not if you used the Chrome extension or forwarded a report email. Both bring the stats in on their own. A game PDF you have can be emailed to us as an attachment (one game per email) or added on the Add games page (open Other ways to add a game, then tap the upload box or drop the file on it).

Make sure your player is set up in the app first, then forward the email again. After it works once, your future games match automatically.
