Pucks never expire. Your monthly plan pucks land in the same balance as purchased ones and carry forward — nothing resets, so unused pucks stack month over month until you spend them.

Coach pucks pay for coach tools — a line report costs 1 puck, an opponent scouting report 1 puck, a line optimize 1 puck, and a full team game report 2 pucks. Building your lines is always free. Find coach plans in the shop while in coach view.
Build your lineup on the lines page. Your players live on the bench strip — pinned along the bottom on a phone, or down the left side on a bigger screen. Put a player on a line and he leaves the bench; when everyone is placed it reads “Full lineup set — everyone placed.” Players who are out sit dimmed at the end of the strip with the reason (“Out — tap to bring back”), ready to tap back in.
Tap a player for his menu
Tap any player — on the bench or already on a line — to open his menu. Depending on where he is, you can Place him on a line, Move or Replace him, Send him to the bench, Set status, or View player to see his stats in a pop-up without leaving the page. Moving one placed player onto another simply swaps the two — you never end up with an empty spot mid-move.
Marking a player out
Set status has five options: In, Injured, Sick, Suspended, and Healthy scratch. Marking a player out pulls him off the lines for you — the spot he left simply reads “Tap to fill.”
Injured, Sick, and Suspended follow the player to every game and every opponent until you set him back to In. A Healthy scratch is for this game only — it applies to this opponent’s board and doesn’t carry over. Building your lines never places anyone who is marked out.
